About Me
Growing up between Peru and the United States taught me that the most compelling narratives emerge from navigating multiple worlds.
I'm currently a Reporting Fellow at The Fort Worth Report, a nonprofit newsroom covering Tarrant County, Texas.
This fall, I'll begin my M.S. in Journalism at Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism and the Stabile Center for Investigative Journalism.
I hold a B.A. in Writing and Rhetoric with a minor in Political Science from St. Edward's University. My reporting experience spans KXAN NBC Austin, where I worked in broadcast news, to print and digital outlets including Hilltop Views — where I served as Editor-in-Chief — Austin Vida, and Tribeza.
I'm drawn to education policy, institutional accountability, and the human stories behind complex decisions — and as a bilingual reporter, I'm committed to sourcing and storytelling that reflects the full breadth of the communities I cover.
I believe journalism should meet people where they are — both in the stories we tell and how we tell them.
